Sandra Alonso
I am passionate about being a massage therapist. I am open-minded, non-judgemental and I care about my clients and, above all, I aim to help you feel the best that you can in your body. Here is the training I have done so far.
I was brought up in Spain and moved to Bristol in 2004; with a background in Human Resources, my interest in massage started after a couple of accidents, where receiving regular massage was a priority as a result of a back injury. Massage has also helped me to work through times of transition, supporting me with my personal growth, and giving me a safe space when I was feeling vulnerable and exhausted. It was not until a treatment at a festival in Portugal that I realised I wanted to learn and bring something more meaningful into my life. Having worked in an office environment for many years, in 2008, I decided to embark on a professional massage career, and I enrolled in the Level 4 Holistic Massage Diploma with Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork, broadening my skills in 2012 in Thailand. In 2022, I became a Level 5 Remedial & Sports Massage Therapist.
Since then, I enjoy exploring many forms of bodywork as it just feels great! It could be a more meditative experience, a relaxing and balancing one, or a more energetic and vigorous treatment. My own ongoing personal development is very important to ensure I can bring my very best to you.
I invite you to bring awareness to your body and emotional state by providing a supportive and safe space to heal on many levels. I am deeply grateful for seeing what a difference my treatments make to clients’ lives, and seeing them leave with a smile on their face is very rewarding and beautiful. I aim to support you in a holistic way, to take charge of your own self-healing journey, empowering you to make the changes you might need.
When I am not working, I enjoy being outdoors, and if possible, in water, and whenever I get time, I do yoga. Laughing with friends, dancing, travelling, eating out, and socialising, and of course some me time are key elements to my wellbeing.
Here is My Training as a massage therapist. You can verify my registration on the CNHC and MTI public registers. I think, in short, that is me. Please get in touch to find out more. For parking and other details, visit FAQs.
